This July, we were honored to be chosen to perform for the Queen of England's Platinum Jubilee and perform for the revered guests of the British Consulate. This was incredibly special because the host, Highclere Castle Gin, requested I create a brand-new string orchestra especially for the occasion. It was a dream come true!
We performed everything from Strauss Waltzes to Britney Spears for the Earl of Canarvon (Is that name familiar? If you watch Downton Abbey, you know that's his home!) as well as Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont. It was a beautiful day filled with sunshine and laughter. Since the Queen of England passed yesterday, this is an even more special memory. Our client hand-picked a beautiful program and I added in a few surprises (We couldn't have a Highclere Castle event without the Downton Abbey Theme!)
