A Tyde at Walnut Beach wedding is effortlessly romantic, and Audra and Joseph’s late-July celebration

captured the romantic elegance perfectly. With the ceremony set on the patio overlooking the beach, gentle ocean breezes, and live music performed by our string trio, their wedding day felt intimate, emotional, and beautifully elevated - exactly what so many Tyde couples dream of.

As classical wedding musicians specializing in waterfront ceremonies, we love how Tyde at Walnut Beach blends relaxed coastal energy with a polished, modern feel. Audra and Joseph leaned into that balance in every detail, especially their ceremony music.

Music for a Tyde at Walnut Beach wedding ceremony

Guests arrived to a thoughtfully curated prelude that mixed classical elegance with familiar pop favorites—warm, welcoming, and sentimental without feeling overly formal. This approach works especially well for a Walnut Beach wedding ceremony, where the open-air setting calls for music that feels natural and expressive.

Welcome music selections included:

This blend is ideal for couples planning a beachfront wedding ceremony who want live music that feels timeless yet personal.

Wedding ceremony music full of personality

Audra and Joseph designed their processional to tell a story—layering emotion, joy, and a few unexpected moments.

The ceremony began with Piano Man by Billy Joel as the groom, groomsmen, and family made their way down the aisle. Partway through, guests were surprised with Ordinary, a meaningful addition chosen by the bride to surprise her groom.

The bridesmaids’ entrance brought a lift in energy with Beautiful Day by U2. They were followed by two toddler ring bearers—pulled in a wagon—and then the sweetest four-year-old flower girl and proud pro (she’d done this before and knew exactly what she was doing).

Audra’s entrance down the aisle was unforgettable with Can't Help Falling in Love (Elvis Presley)—a moment that felt perfectly at home against the ocean backdrop.

As the ceremony concluded, Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles sent everyone off smiling and we wrapped things up with Closing Time by the Semisonics, a playful and joyful way to transition guests into the celebration.

Planning a Tyde at Walnut Beach wedding? Here’s what to know about ceremony music

If you’re a Tyde couple planning your Tyde at Walnut Beach wedding ceremony, live music can absolutely take the space to the next level. The patio is open, scenic, and naturally beautiful—having experienced classical wedding musicians ensures the music carries gracefully without overpowering the moment.

A wedding ceremony featuring string trio is especially well-suited for this venue:

  • It feels elegant without being heavy

  • It complements the beachfront setting

  • It allows for seamless transitions between pop and classical music

We would also highly recommend our violin and piano duet and string quartet for this space.

Important tip: Remember that classical wedding musicians need protection from the elements. There is natural shade in select parts of the patio, so be sure to do a walk through and consider where they can set up for safety.

There’s something timeless about a Tyde at Walnut Beach wedding—the openness of the ceremony patio, the rhythm of the waves, and the way live music naturally settles into the space. Audra and Joseph’s celebration captured all of that with ease, creating a ceremony that felt both relaxed and refined. Their day was a perfect example of how thoughtfully chosen music can elevate an already beautiful setting.
