Planning a church wedding ceremony comes with a different set of expectations than a traditional venue and, for many couples, it’s not always what they expect. For many, the word traditional carries a certain weight: structured, formal, and sometimes limiting. In my experience, that’s rarely the full picture. Church ceremonies may be traditional, but that does mean they have to be predictable or cookie-cutter. They are often the most emotionally resonant ceremonies we perform.
